On the morning of July 16th, our college held the opening ceremony of the 2024 China Malaysia Youth Summer Artificial Intelligence Technology Study Camp. Zheng Wei, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of ZJCST, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Leaders and teacher representatives from the School of Artificial Intelligence attended the meeting. The ceremony was presided over by the head of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center.

Zheng Wei, on behalf of all teachers and students, warmly welcomed the teachers and students who came from afar, and briefly introduced the basic information of the college’s scale of education and discipline construction. Zheng Wei said that 2024 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, the "China Malaysia Friendship Year", and the 11th anniversary of the "the Belt and Road" initiative. In this context, the holding of this camp is even more significant. It is not only a celebration and continuation of the friendly relations between the two countries, but also an important practice of educational cooperation under the "the Belt and Road" initiative. He hopes that students can cherish this learning opportunity, gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, and enhance their theoretical and practical abilities; he also welcomed more Malaysian students to come to ZJCST for learning and exchange, to build a bridge of friendship between Chinese and Malaysian students, and to promote deep cultural exchanges between the two countries.

The teacher representative from the School of Artificial Intelligence who was responsible for this study camp provided a detailed introduction to the course arrangement and activity plan of the study camp. This training program will help students comprehensively improve their overall quality and international perspective through various forms such as language learning, professional courses, cultural experiences, and field trips.

The leader teacher of Malaysia Vocational and Technical College, Husna, and representatives of international students expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and training opportunities provided by our college. They hoped to take this opportunity to deepen their learning of traditional Chinese culture and teaching concepts, enhance practical skills, strengthen educational cooperation and exchanges between the two countries, and contribute to the development and progress of both countries.

The teachers and students of the study camp visited various places such as the UAV+ comprehensive training base, intelligent equipment training room, CMF innovative design training center, security intelligent monitoring system comprehensive training base, information security production training base, and smart room training base.

This training program lasts for 12 days, during which a variety of teaching and practical activities will be carried out to help Malaysian students gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, expand their international perspective, and enhance their comprehensive abilities.
