On October 20, the Inaugural Conference of Lancang-Mekong Countries Entrepreneurship Education Association and 2023 Lancang-Mekong Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Forum, co-directed by Department of Foreign Affairs of Zhejiang Provincial people’s Government and Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, was held in Wenzhou University of Technology. As the vice president of our college, Hu Weiguo, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of our college, was invited to attend the meeting.

          At the forum, more than 200 leading guests, university experts and industry professionals from the six countries of the Lancang-Mekong River held in-depth dialogues under the theme of "Building a Dream for the Future in the Lancang-Mekong River", and jointly discussed how to strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation among Lancang-Mekong countries, promote the development of entrepreneurship and innovation education in Lancang-Mekong countries, and build a closer Lancang-Mekong community with a shared future.

         On behalf of our college, Hu Weiguo made a special speech on the Practice and exploration of innovation and entrepreneurship education in security colleges under the vision of "The Belt and Road" - Taking Zhejiang College of Security Technology. From the three perspectives of our college's general situation, the college's innovation and entrepreneurship education practice, and the college's innovation and entrepreneurship characteristic development, the three important factors of the urgent need to train security talents for the "Belt and Road" and the relevant practices and experiences carried out by our college are elaborated. Adhere to the strengthening of top-level design, deepening the integration of innovation and innovation, and strengthening international cooperation as the established strategy of rethinking the development of innovation and entrepreneurship characteristics of our college, which was highly recognized and appreciated by the participants.

         It is understood that the "Belt and Road" relies on the existing bilateral and multilateral mechanisms between China and relevant countries, with the help of existing and effective regional cooperation platforms, holding high the banner of peaceful development, actively developing economic cooperation relations with partners, and jointly building a community of interests, a community of destiny and a community of responsibility featuring political mutual trust, economic integration and cultural inclusiveness. By the end of June 2023, China had signed more than 200 cooperation documents on Belt and Road cooperation with 152 countries and 32 international organizations. From October 17 to 18, 2023, the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing under the theme of "High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation for Common Development and Prosperity".

        The Lancang-Mekong Countries Entrepreneurship Education Association has built a new platform for Lancang-Mekong international education cooperation, created a new pattern of coordinated development, and outlined a new blueprint for international and regional education synergy. Our college will take the selection of the Association vice chairman unit as an opportunity to continuously deepen the reform of the training mode of innovative and entrepreneurial talents, adhere to the core of intelligence, to the support of "new technology", to the "big security" as the feature, to cultivate the "five strong" characteristics of talents with innovative and entrepreneurial ability.
